New Right-Angle Clamping Pads From Woodpeckers
Woodpeckers introduces injection-molded Clamp-Pals to protect wood from unsightly glue stains and crushed fibers.
“Clamp-Pals work with both 1/2 " and 3/4" pipe clamps, with a different radius molded into each side,” the company explained. “The inside corner has a relief cut to protect mitered joints. They also work with most types of bar and parallel jaw clamps.
"We used some similar shop-made clamping pads at a furniture making class my son Brandon and I recently took together. We both loved them and thought it would be great to have some injection-molded versions that would be even more resilient and longer lasting than wooden ones,” says Richard Hummel, president of Woodpeckers.
