New Cordless Belt Sander from Makita

Makita U.S.A. introduces the new 40-volt 3" x 21" belt sander, model GSB01Z, to its XGT cordless tool platform.

The sander features variable-speed control, an adjustable front grip for sanding flush to walls as well as using the nose and the side of the sander, and a Clamper Set (sold separately) to use the sander in a stationary position.

“Convenience features include an innovative design for optimal tool and battery weight balance, an adjustable L.E.D. light that illuminates the work area, and a dust bag for a cleaner work environment. The GSB01 also features a trigger with a lock-on button that allows various sanding applications,” the company explained in a release.
