Stanley recently introduced its new Floor Plan app and TLM99 laser distance measurer with Bluetooth connectivity.
The app digitally measures and creates floor plans for builders, remodelers, estimators, real estate agents and do-it-yourselfers.
“Using your smartphone or tablet’s camera, view your room or space through the Floor Plan’s augmented reality function, working your way around your space, designating placement of room corners and doors. The Floor Plan App’s intuitive software estimates and automatically populates each room with dimensions and square footage calculations,” the company said in a statement.
“After you have created all of your individual spaces, you can easily link them together to create a complete floor plan. The Floor Plan app also allows you to add objects such as furniture, appliances, windows, doors, and more into your floor plan making it a great space planning tool.”
The floor plans can be saved to a project folder and exported as PDF, JPG, Excel or DXF files to be printed or imported into other software programs.
Through Bluetooth, the TLM99 syncs to smartphones and tablets via the Stanley Floor Plan app. The measurer calculates square footage, volume and distance.
