That sandpaper disc thing I talked about last time is something I’ve been doing for decades, but I’ve never seen it mentioned in any “tips” column in any magazine ever. So naturally, in my typical self-centered way I thought it was some kind of secret tip I’ve been sitting on all this time. Well, of course it wasn’t since at least one reader commented that he’s been doing the exact same thing for years.

Still, I’ve never seen it in any magazine. So I got to thinking about what secret tips you might be hoarding. Got something you’ve been doing for so long that you just automatically take for granted that everyone already knows?

Dig it out, dust it off, and put it in the comments section.
