IWPA kicks off leadership program
The International Wood Products Association (IWPA), an international trade association for the North American imported wood products industry, announced the inaugural members of its new IWPA Leadership Program.
The International Wood Products Association (IWPA), an international trade association for the North American imported wood products industry, announced the inaugural members of its new IWPA Leadership Program.
The program brings together a small group of IWPA members that were competitively selected to participate in a two-year program designed to expose them to a wide variety of Association business, professional development, and networking opportunities.
“We are thrilled to kick off our inaugural leadership program, which will help support IWPA’s mission of advancing the legal and sustainable harvesting of wood products from around the world,” said IWPA Executive Director Ashley Amidon. “The members we have selected from a broad pool of candidates will help inspire and develop our next generation of industry leaders and I am so excited to see what they accomplish.”
Participants for the 2024-2026 class include:
• Abhi Agarwal, director of sales and purchase at Winksy Int. in San Jose, Calif.
• Ryan Canipe, compliance specialist at Roseburg Forest Products in Charlotte, N.C.
• Brock Toner, finance and operations manager at Patriot Timber Products in Greensboro, N.C.
• Eric Wilk, supply chain compliance analyst at Cabinetworks Group in Brighton, Mich.
