CribMaster, part of Stanley Black & Decker, introduced the Express ToolBox, a vending machine that offers secure storage and employee access to high-use supplies.
“It’s always been our goal to have the right inventory management solutions to help our customers save time and money in effectively managing any type of indirect material,” product manger Mike Ratteree said in a statement. “With the addition of the Express ToolBox to our line of coil vending solutions including the ToolBox and the X3, we can offer an array of dispensing options to fit any budget or inventory control need.”
The Express ToolBox allows authorized employees to have 24/7 access to their high-use supplies while management gains knowledge of actual supply usage, critical inventory levels and replenishment status conveniently on a Web browser.
This self-contained system has the capability to track usage in real time by employee, job, work cell or any other cost center previously selected. The keypad interface makes it easy for the user to access several key features such as issue, count and receive. It is also ideal for the controlled dispensing of gloves, protective eye wear, cutting tools or any other type of indirect material, according to the company.
