Festool dust extractor features auto start

15_tools_techFestool debuted its new CT 48 dust extractor, an extension of the company’s Clean Technology line, in October. It has the largest capacity in the CT line at 12.7 gallons, but can easily be moved around the shop or job site, according to Festool spokesman Rick Bush.

Woodstock’s new band saw has reinforced frame

14_tools_techWoodstock International has introduced its new Shop Fox 18” wood/metal-cutting band saw, model M1113, featuring a 1-1/2-hp variable-speed motor. It accepts blades as narrow as 1/8” and as wide as 1-1/4” to cut small curves or resaw material up to 12” thick.
