RazorGage adds an entry-level stop gauge

19_razorgage_01RazorGage has added the MiniTouch, a new automated stop gauge for entry-level tasks that includes the high-end mechanical features introduced on its CNC-level equipment. The MiniTouch features a 4" x 6" multiple-menu color touch screen that significantly reduces data entry errors and setup time for the equipment operator, according to the company.

Forrest debuts new Signature Line saw blade

Forrest Mfg. of Clifton, N.J., has introduced a new 90-tooth, 12" diameter blade in its Signature Line Chop Master series with a 5/8" center hole for use on any 12" sliding compound miter saw, chop saw or radial arm saw.

Striebig adds touch-screen features

18_striebig_01Striebig has announced significant changes to its Swiss-made Evolution and Control vertical panel saws. The two saws offer new features including a touch-screen color display panel, a laser light guide to assist with horizontal cuts, and the ability to upload cut lists via a USB memory stick. Once the operator imports the cut list from the USB stick, it can be called up on the screen and it appears in the form of a spreadsheet. The Control model offers automatic travel features, while the Evolution model primarily operates under manual conditions.

TimeSavers adds two wide belt sanders
