LEIGH INDUSTRIES has introduced four templates for use with its Leigh D1600 dovetail jig and variable guide bush system. The templates consist of a 16" finger joint template and three 16" isoloc templates. The finger joint template produces six sizes of square-cornered finger joints — also called box joints — from 1/16" to 1/2". Double- and triple-sized joints can be produced, further expanding the range of joint sizes. There are six patterns of isoloc joints and each template produces two distinct interlocking patterns. The templates are named the Key & Mirror Key, Clover & Bears Ears, and Wave & Ellipse. Each is priced at $159; a set of three costs $379. The finger joint template sells for $197.
