Weekend in New England

017_news_desk_2Nearly 125 members attended a Feb. 27 meeting of the New England Chapter of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers at the Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking in Manchester, Conn.

Among those in attendance were (from left) Freddie Roman, New England chapter president; Bob Van Dyke, director of the Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking; Mickey Callahan, president of the SAPFM; Will Neptune, custom furniture maker and woodworking presenter from Acton, Mass.; Robert Mussey, author of "The Furniture Masterworks of John & Thomas Seymour;" and Nick Kotula, a New England furniture conservator.
