New shaper from Shop Fox

Shop Fox has introduced a 5-hp shaper, model W1827, featuring a cast-iron table and four spring hold-down assemblies.
According to the company, the main features include:
• A 220-volt, single-phase, 3,450 rpm motor
• A 35-1/2” x 28” cast-iron table
• 3/4”, 1” and 1-1/4” spindles, included with the machine
• Independent, micro-adjustable cast-iron fence assembly with 4” dust port
• Four spring hold-down assemblies for safe operation
The shaper has a suggested list price of $3,875 and is covered by the company’s two-year warranty.
