Stiles donates prize to WoodLINKS

072710_noteworthyStiles Shop Solutions has donated a new Ironwood machine as part of the prize package being awarded to the winning school of the WoodLINKS USA 2010 RTA contest.

The winner can choose between three new Ironwood machines as part of their prize: a JT 300 Jointer; FX550 Shaper; or BR23 construction boring machine. These machines are valued up to $7,500 and carry a two-year technical support warranty. Any of the Ironwood series of machines will help students learn the technical aspects as well as the craftsmanship needed to succeed in today's woodworking industry and will illustrate the importance of using quality equipment to produce quality finished pieces, the company says.

The WoodLINKS RTA contest is hosted at IWF 2010, scheduled for Aug. 25-28 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

It is wonderful to see the support that Stiles is providing to this effective competition. I'm certain that the winning school will make excellent use of this donation. It is my hope that other equipment dealers or manufacturers will also see fit to support the students and schools participating.Thank you so much Stiles.
