Upholstering a Traditional Slip Seat with W. Mickey Callahan. Students will first build a typical hardwood frame and then upholster it using jute webbing, rubberized horse hair, raw cotton batting and muslin. Alternate methods of building a slip seat frame will also be discussed. Students will be required to provide their own hand tools and finish fabric, if desired. All other materials will be supplied by the school. Tuition $245, plus materials.
