Making and Mastering Wood Planes. This hands-on session will start with a lesson on efficient and effective sharpening before students build their own plane. The process is followed by demonstrations of seamlessly edge-joining boards, then flattening, truing, and polishing surfaces to gleaming perfection. Tuition: $250 plus materials.
