Description
Students will be introduced to several uncommon woodworking skills, such as riving wood with a froe; shaping the back spindles, arm and bow on the shave horse with a drawknife and spokeshave; steam-bending the arm and bow and boring holes with bit and brace in assembly. Special attention will be devoted to design, both traditional and contemporary. Materials included. Tuition: $650.
