Description
Every shop needs a tough workbench. Build this trestle style bench that’s rugged enough to handle any job. Made of beech with stopped and through mortise and tenon joints, this solid design will use a maple top measuring 30 x 72" and a 9" vise. All materials will be provided with the wood milled up and ready for joinery. It’s still a bunch of work as we build the trestles and make the through joints. You’ll cut and shape rails and wedges, attach the vise, make vise blocks, and drill for dog holes. This design allows for flexibility if you want to add drawers or a cabinet. But this is where you will start: with a great workbench.
Tuition: $675
Materials: $550-650 (includes vise)
