Arca-BotanicumNow through Apr. 16, the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, Mass., is presenting “Bartram’s Boxes Remix,” a traveling exhibition of sculptural wood boxes. The exhibition is a collaborative project between the Center for Art in Wood and Bartram’s Garden in Philadelphia.

atg_dwightOffering American-made, handcrafted furniture, accessories and art, the 21st annual Rhode Island Fine Furnishings Show was held Nov. 4-6 at the Pawtucket Armory Arts Center in Pawtucket, R.I. Given its timing, show director Karla Little says the show surpassed expectations.

Early Rhode Island furniture featured at Yale exhibit

high_chest_of_drawers“Art and Industry in Early America: Rhode Island Furniture, 1650-1830” is on display at the Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven, Conn., through Jan. 9, 2017. The groundbreaking exhibition opened Aug. 19 and presents a comprehensive survey of Rhode Island furniture from the colonial and early Federal periods.
